I took time out from campaigning today to vist the Harlequin, where local sixth form students running Young Enterprise companies were selling their wares.
One of the teams from Watford Girls Grammar called Envi were selling environmentally friendly bags with a range of great designs on. Even better, they take commissions .... might be going back to them! A neighbouring company from the Watford Boys Grammar were selling wind-up phone chargers, so I bought one to send to my very active daughter Helen, for when she’s yomping across Scottish mountains.
I was impressed by the students' table top displays, selling their well designed products, but even more delighted that they were absolutely clear about their finance and marketing plans. A good sign for our future economy!
